I am creating a shell script which will call a pl/sql procedure in Oracle and assign its output value to a varible.I will display the value to screen.

Could anyone tell me how could I assign output parameter value of a procedure to a varible in unix.

Thanks,

As this has been asked and answered many times, I think you will be able to find a solution to your specific needs by searching on the board.
