Hi,
Can we have the same stock locator in different subinventories under a single inventory organisation.
Eg. Inv Org A >
Sub Inv1 Sub Inv2
Loc1 Loc1
Currently system is not allowing to create the same existing stock locator in subinventory(Sub Inv2), since a stock locator already exists with the same name in Sub Inv1.
How to go about with this requirement.
I tried with various combinations of Organisation Parameters> Locator Control > Presepcified,Dynamic Entry allowed and Dynamic entry at subinventory level.

Bala Sir,
You will have to look for a different way to meet your business requirement. Inventory will not allow the same locator name to be used twice within the organization.
You may try:
1. Name it slightly differnently
2. Change the way the business process works (where is value added by having the locator used twice and inventory being mixed up?)
3. Investigate Oracle Wharehouse Management, which may allow this sort of use
