Hi All,

I am using Forms10g. We have used APP_STANDARD.APP_VALIDATE (RECORD_SCOPE) in our form. When I open the form and try to do some transaction, this validation fails and form stops processing ahead.

Can any body tell what is the significance of APP_STANDARD.APP_VALIDATE (RECORD_SCOPE); From google and metalink, I didn't get the clear picture of it. I looked into this standard library, insite this library it uses form built in validtae(scope);

I am not able to figure out what validation it does? I have no clue why my form is not processing normally after this validation.

If any of you have any idea on it, Please help me.
