Does it mean that you know what the problem is/was?

Just in case you didn't notice, there's no enough free space on disk.

OK, you are correct & Oracle is wrong.
Now you need to file a bug report to get it fixed.

via Metalink a.k.a My Oracle Support (MOS)

since V9 is obsoleted & unsupported don't expect a positive response

Which OS you are using?which service pack ?

I admit, I'm not an experienced Oracle installer - everything I did installed successfully. However: the message says that "there's no enough space on the installer swap area".
Now, on MS Windows, a swap file represents virutal memory. Shortly, if you don't have enough RAM, Windows use some space on a hard disk and write certain information - which should be in RAM - into a file on disk. This file is a "swap file"; "virtual memory" because you don't really have it, it is ... well, virtual.
As disk access is much slower than RAM, one should avoid it if possible.

What I meant to say was: should you, perhaps, enlarge swap file? If so, on MS Windows XP it is in
Control panel
  System
    Advanced tab
      Performance section (push Settings button)
        Advanced tab
Virtual memory section (push Change button)
set new (larger) value (mine is set to 4GB)

Besides, error message also says that you should push the "Help" button. Did you do that? What does it say?

i don`t think its a CD`s problem.
it must be swap area problem.
Any way you got solved your problem.
Thanks for the feed back.
Good luck.
