Hi,

My company purchased Oracle Database software and one of my friend wanted to take media and install in his environment (different company).

How Oracle people detect that this database belongs to my company.

*Any SQL statements which enhance my company details.

Waiting for valuable input's

They can't. It does matter for them, software is free to download (in the limits describe by the terms of license you find at the same place than the download).
Why don't your friend just take the software from Oracle site?

Now if you friend copy the database (not the software), it is another question.

Regards
Michel

Hello,

Thanks for your valuable info regarding license issue.

#Why Oracle provide free download of Oracle Databases/Application and other products. (Does free software have limited use not for production).

Yes my friend using only DB media to create database for his company with limited users like 20, I hope this may not be a violation of piracy.

If they use it for anything that is not allowed by the license, they are making piracy.
