Hi,

A collegue of mine has one problem with his client installation that I am not seeing any resolution to it.

He has a Windows 7 64 bit laptop and wants to install Oracle Instant Client into it.

Hs has just installed the Oracle Client on his machine and after that he had installed the Oracle Data Access for 64 bits (
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/database/windows/downloads/index-090165.html) it still doesn't have the Oracle DataAccess assembly avalaibale.
When we look into C:\Windows\Assembly we only have the X86 version installed.

He already has Visual Studio 2010 installed on his machine.

Using a tool like Navicap the connection is made possible ...

What can we do to solve the problem?
Has anyone had the same problem?

Thanks!

Hi Michel,

Just like me, someone else can forget it and therefore it might be useful ....

But I am still trying to figure out how I managed to forget just a simples task like that ...
(the reason os partially related to the fact that I've never used Oracle Client and ORacle Data Access within a 64 bit system ...)

Thanks.
