Does anybody having any idea of how to disable the checkpoint process.

I don't think so you can disable the checkpoint, because it is an event on background process. But you can make it long with these two parameters.

LOG_CHECKPOINT_INTERVAL and LOG_CHECKPOINT_TIMEOUT
