So refer to the mentioned log file.
What do you expect from us with just an error message saying "refer to log file X for more details"?

Michel

Dear All,

After installation of database the mentioned error occurred. then I'll try to connect a database thru DBA login ID , but i faced error is "Destination Host not Reachable". Based on error i'll create a new Listener and start with the same. and i start the Listener service in SERVICES.MSC windows.
And now i able to login in database.

Please find attached login snap

no listener is required to start or access any Oracle DB

Dear Friend,

Please tell me how's the DB work without listener.
As per my knowledge we don't required or create a listener in 10g while installation, but in 11g the DB required a listener to connect a host and i'll start a LISTENER service.

As per attached earlier snap i able login successfully.

Please correct/suggest if my statement was wrong.

Thanks & Regards,
Krrish.

Just as in Oracle 10g (or any version): set ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_SID and PATH to point to %ORACLE_HOME%\BIN.
