Hi,

I would like to know is there any limitation in declaring a cursor when the number of records are concerned.

Like I want to declare a cursor which may select 500000 records. What are the performance issue related with that.

Thanks in advance,
Su

known issues have arised only if you dont close the cursor properly.
commit the changed every 5000 records or so
