Hello ,

When validation fails, the errors are transferred into table (called Error Table) when loading data from interface to standard tables . Can anyone tell me what error codes are to be specified for failed validations ? (http://oracleappstechnicalworld.blogspot.com/2008/04/intro-to-interfacesfor-freshers-to.html)

Are these error codes stored in fnd_new_messages ?? Thanks.

It depends on how Oracle has coded (in case of seeded programs) or you have coded (in case of custom programs).
Mostly the error codes will be stored in fnd_new_messages. Few cases in some lookups and rest nowhere (only hard-coded in the program).
