Hello,
I need help in running patches on Windows XP Professional SP2.
Initially I have installed Oracle 9.2.0.1 client and the installation is working fine. When I tried to run the installer for patch 9.2.0.7, it did not start at all.
Then I made a good working install of Oracle 10.1.0.2 database + client and tried to patch it to 10.1.0.4 - again the same error with the installer for the 10.1.0.4. The error is bellow.
Why the database installations completes and works with no problem but the patch installer doesn't want even to start.
