I am having a dff and the value set defined for this attribute is of Standard date type format.

I am updating DFF using API.

When I insert a date into this field its storing in the table as YYYY/MM/DD and
if i insert 05-JUL-2006, it is stored as 2005/07/06 and when i go to front end i see the DFF its display as 06-JUL-2005.

How can i correct this.

Are you using FND_STANDARD_DATE value set ?
How are you inserting/updating this field ? Which API are you using ? How are you calling that API ?

Hi all,

I too am facing the similar problem... Here i have something like Special Information Type defined like Rewards. I have a segment with FND_STANDARD_DATE type, I faced the similar problem like the one above..

I used hr_sit_api.create_sit api, where i passed the sysdate for the corresponding segment defined as FND_STANDARD_DATE..

Can anyone give us a clear view on how to correct this problem...
