Select from nls_session_parameters and nls_database_parameters.

Hi frank,

thanks for reply.

If there is mismatch b/w the server and client character set , how can we change the client char set compatible to server char set,say for ex the server char set is US7ASCII and client char set is WE8MSWIN1252

You should not match the characterset of Client with the server, infact server db should be superset of all native languages of client applications.
