SIR WHEN I START SQL PLUS THEN SYSTEM GIVE ME THIS ERROR

Error 6 initializing SQL*Plus
Message file sp1<lang>.msb not found
SP2-0750: You may need to set ORACLE_HOME to your Oracle software directory

THIS I USE THESE COMMAND

c:\ set ORACLE_HOME=c:\ORACLE9I
c:\ set ORACLE_SID=AAMIR
c:\ sqlplus / as sysdba

AND RUN SQL PLUS THEN SYSTEM GIVE ME THIS ERROR

SIR PLEASE GIVE ME IDEA HOW I USE MY ORACEL

How URGENT can this be....

Anyway, have You verified that the ORACLE_HOME is actually correct?
- It looks a bit short, but I do not know how You chose to install Oracle.

What happens, if You CD into the $ORACLE_HOME\bin directory, and then starts sql*plus?
