Dear All,
I am getting the following error while starting DB in test_dbw0_2246.trc

ORA-01157: cannot identify/lock data file 2 - see DBWR trace file
ORA-01110: data file 2: '/ora3/oradata/test/temp_01.dbf'
ORA-27037: unable to obtain file status
SVR4 Error: 2: No such file or directory

UNIX : SunOs 5.8
DB : Oracle 9.2.0

Is the file physically present, i mean at the OS level?

Restore and recover the file from a backup. If no backup, then you have problems.
