Hi I´m in oracle 9i and SO windows 2000

Anyone knows if Can i change my session parameters for nls lang

something like

SQL> set nls_lang= language_territory.characterset

or i need to do it in the registry entry???

I´m thinking this because i can do the follow

SQL> set nls_numeric_characters =.,

I´m worng or i can do it without problem because i'm in a production server
