How can I start oracle package in HP_UX (pls urgent) [message #204409]

Problem is
1.oracle 8i and HP_UX 11
2.when I try to Export 8 Gb table successfuly export.
3.Drop the particular table
4.Importing time I got err msg ie can not extent in datafile I chech it disk space not enough.
5. then terminate the imp process(CTRL+C)
6.I try to drop the table ora-00054 nowait err msg popup
7.I try to halt pkg oracle that one take long responce time
8.pkg yet show halted (never down)
7.now my problem is how can i bring up pkg oracle
8. I try cmrunpkg oracle/cmmod -e oracle but still halted this both commands take long response time

pls advicce me asap

Not sure what you mean by 'package' here.
For the root issue,
always export with compress=n

Which table you trying to drop. i think you drop table already.

how was you trying to drop table through sqlplus or some using other tools.

s already drop hte particular table. now I got problem in importing time. so once again I try to drop the table.

hi manix.

if you drop table.

and you are not create table after drop. so why so drop again.

if you think ur import operation create table . yes but if import operation complete successfully. but in ur case you are terminated ur import operation so table is not created.

any way let check first then trying to drop .
select count(*) from "put_ur_table_name".

if exists then drop again.

and you get ora-00054.
ORA-00054: resource busy and acquire with NOWAIT specified

Cause: Resource interested is busy.

Action: Retry if necessary.

Once agin thanks for ur prompt reply
when I chech the table desc that show structure of table so that i decided to drop the table once again.
now my problem is I halt the package oracle( it take long responce time)how can I bring up this one.
