Hello sir,


When i am trying to connect sys user, i got the following error


SQL*Plus: Release 9.2.0.4.0 - Production on Tue Jan 2 11:27:39 2007

ERROR:
ORA-09817: Write to audit file failed.
Linux Error: 28: No space left on device
ORA-01075: you are currently logged on

OS--->LINUX

plz help me to get rid from issue.

What part of "Linux Error: 28: No space left on device" do you NOT understand?
The volume where AUDIT writes its output is FULL.

thank u for reply


Now i have checked the
$ORA_HOME/rdbms/audit and deleted the old files ,but still the error presist.

Plz help me what can i do..

$ df -k

is 100% FULL & Oracle want to write additional data to it.

So the solution is I want to freeup the space in /mnt/ora_system to get rid from the issue is it right..?
