Hi guys I just wont to know how to do the minimum installation of RHEL AS4 with out Xwindows and still be able to install Oracle 10g.
Any references on the web ?

hi, i'm interested in this too and believed that rhel's "minimal installation" during the package_group_selection [the last option at this] stage of installation maybe the way to go. anyway it may also still install few other unneeded software (as i heard/read somewhere). so we may need/able to remove few software afterwards.

i guess we've to do the above "minimal install" and add the oracle's required software (as stated in oracle installation doc). the main thing which i just know is, without x-window we could only do oracle's complete silent-mode installation.
