Dear Members,

I am trying to migrate a 8i database to 9i rel 2 database .
Both the instances are up. listeneres running.
I logged into the 9i rel 2 db upgrade assistant checked the 8i databse for migration ..
but its asking me for a sysdba previledged user ..
i tried with sys pwd= change_on_install although it does not hv a sysdba prev
but its saying invalid username/password..
can't use user=internal since its desupported in 9i

can anyone help me out.

If you get desperate you could always read the fine Migration Manual which you should have done before even starting.

Do you realize the V9.2 becomes non-supported in Aug 2007?
