I'm getting pestered by my sales department. I already told them there was not a way to confirm the number of Oracle licenses purchased by searching through the database. I just wanted to confirm that I'm correct. These are older contracts and older Oracle version so we're not using Oracle's newer licensing models.

That's correct. There is no parameter or table that indicates what you are licensed for. You should contact your company's Oracle sales rep for confirmation of licensing.
