Hi

i have windows vista on my laptop and already installed
oracle 10g express edition . i need to find oracle net configuration assistant so that i can connect to my university's remote database . I cant find "net config assistant" in my downloaded version .
Does it come with express edition . or do I have to install standard edition . I didnt find it in menu
can you pls suggest some way to connect to remote database.

pls help .

What is univ its UNIVERSAL OR UNIVERSITY?
Are you a part of that network?
If no do you have remote access?
Did you configure Service for connectivty?


example

sqlplus dreamz/dreamz@dreamz====>this last dreamz is service name for connectivty.
