Hi everyDBA !
I got a problem with my Oracle DBMS Server. Once i start the server and users begin to connect, the system user 'oracle' consumes the whole resources in the machine. I need some help please. here i provide you with some technical information :



1. Oracle version : Oracle8i Enterprise Edition Release 8.1.7.4.0 - 64bit Production
2. OS : SunOS 5.8 Generic_117350-35 sun4u sparc SUNW,Sun-Fire
3. Memory size: 49152 Megabytes
4. My init file : see attachment
5. A "prstat -a" command output : see attachment

You using Dedicated mode or Shared Server mode?
How much users connected to database?
Whats the DMLs rate?

How comes?

Hai check out your init.ora and specify less size there.
