Hi gurus,

Im using oracle 9.2.0.8.0 , Here im shutdown the server with crontab but without shutdown database properly on particular time.
like everyday 1.00am.

Now i need to shutdown the server and stop lsnrctl before the cron tab execution. pLease Help me in this.

What you tried?Did you write any script for brining DB sevver down and listener?

Hi
Im want to shutdown database and lisnercontrol automatically.

but i set crontab at 1.00am everyday. it will halt system but not shutdown database and lisner properly
