I got the OEM Grid software in (I believe) 2 zip files named Disk 1 and Disk 2. To unzip, I had to specify Disk 2 (the last in an apparent set of zip files). Unzipped okay, all into a directory called "Disk 1". And, ./runInstaller worked okay. Went through the GUI, installation started, but then it hangs at setup with the "OUI-10133 Invalid Staging area error followed by "OUI-10132" the source location specified is empty, please specify a valid location.

When I checked the $HOME/eminstall.progress file (named something like that), it has an oms.xxx file as the next one to be done. I didn't find ANY "oms" directory in the Oracle base directory.

I did check Metalink and did what it suggested with regard to editing a product.xml (or product.<something>) file.

I'm stuck, and I'm even wondering if I have all the ZIP files I need (aren't there 3)? Any information would be appreciated,thanks!

Mike

Hi,

I have also faced the same problem.

Solution / Action Taken
========================
Download all the zip files and unzip them into a same directory.
When you unzip the two zip files a single directory (Disk 1) is created.

cd Disk1
./runInstaller

Follow the Installation Guide to complete the installation.
